The Boomwhacker Music workshop is a fun and colourful way for families to create and experience the joy of rhythm and harmony using Boomwhackers. 

Boomwhackers are coloured percussion tubes that create different musical tones when played. Children’s faces light up as they realise that what they are hearing is not just the sound of plastic tubes, but instead a beautiful sound of melodies.  As the family members identify how each colour creates a harmonic tone, they are given simple rhythms to play in groups. During the sessions they explore cyclic rhythms with the colours and harmonic pitch helping them to distinguish different parts.  This is all delivered with interactive games and learning fun rhymes and syllables of words to help them get in to the beat and develop their skills in listening and interacting with one another.
