Geronimo is a family festival aimed at children under 13 and their families. The festival is focused on quality family time and imaginative play. The aim of the festival is to encourage families to play, learn and create magical memories together.
Please note that all children aged under 2 are completely free and do not require a paid ticket!
All adults must be accompanied by a responsible child!
We know you'll have a number of questions about the event and have listed some of the most frequently asked ones below. If you want to ask anything else then please do contact us.
It's my child's birthday can they meet one of the stars for a meet & greet?
Unfortunately to be fair to everyone this isn't logistically possible.
My child is 2 do they get in free?
Once your child reaches 2 years old you will require a ticket.
Are adults required to purchase a ticket to Geronimo?
Yes.
Can I bring a Picnic?
We would politely ask that you do not bring your own food and drink. We have some amazing, locally produced food and drink available so why not give our exhibitors a whirl! There will be lots of choice to cater for every taste. You are of course more than welcome to bring baby food and we understand if you have any specialist dietary requirements that you might need to bring your own.
How old do I have to be to receive the Geronimo Senior Citizen free ticket?
A senior citizen is someone in receipt of a state pension the current age is 65 for men and 63 and nine months for women.
Can girls use the blue portaloo toilets or just the pink ones?
This has been asked many times!!
Do Carers qualify for free entry?
Yes, please be advised a 'carer' is someone that looks after a child in receipt of DLA proof will have to be sent via the carers enquiry form which will have to be sent to Ticketline and they can issue you a carer ticket.

Is it possible to get round the festival in 1 day?
There are over 100 activities at Geronimo. We highly recommend a 4 day ticket especially to seasoned Geronomites who know how much there is to do.
Will there be 24 hour first aid support at the festival?
Yes our first aiders and welfare tent will be there to help you at all times.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes MOST activities.
Can you give me examples of free activities?
All Main Stage Shows / Circus Main Stage Show / 5 Theatre Shows / Yoga Sessions / Main Arena Shows / Forest School / Soft Play / Craft Sessions / Reptile Encounters / Sheep Show / Fort Building and lots more.
What happens if it is raining?
We want to ensure that you can enjoy the event come rain or shine, many of our activities will be under cover and in marquees. Geronimo is an outdoor event, in the eventuality that the weather is inclement the event will still take place, we advise all visitors to check the weather and come prepared with waterproofs, we also remind visitors to bring sun lotion, sun hats and water bottles.
How many days does the ticket cover?
A day ticket is valid for 1 Day, tickets are non-transferable. If you purchase a 4 Day Ticket you must have the appropriate wristband which must not show signs of tamper or you will not be admitted to the second day.
Is there messy play?
There is a wide variety of activities at Geronimo. Some arts and crafts may be messy so it might be a good idea to bring a change of clothes or an old t-shirt / apron for your child. There will be hand washing facilities on site.
Do I need to bring cash?
We will have cash machines on site for your convenience, it is a good idea to bring some cash to spend at our lovely food vendors or carefully selected stores.
Can I bring children older than 13?
Yes. The programming is aimed at children age 13 and under, however there is no reason why you couldn't bring along children older than 13 and we are happy for them to take part.
Is there a buggy park?
There is a Buggy Park - it is NOT UNDER COVER.
Are there child sized portions and family friendly foods available?
Yes. Our caterers will offer children sized meals and food suitable for small children.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry no dogs, cats or Gruffalos.
Can I leave my child at the event?
No. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at the event at all times.
Are there activities suitable for disabled children?
Yes there will be many activities that disabled children can partake in apart from watching some of their favourite shows.
Will there be a disabled viewing platform for the main stage?
There will be a separate viewing area to allow all disabled visitors to enjoy the main stage shows.
Will there be an High Dependency unit again at Geronimo?
No.
Is the terrain suitable for pushing a wheel chair?
The ground is grass and not hilly, please be aware in wet conditions it can be more difficult to push buggies and wheelchairs.
Is there a baby changing area?
Yes, there will be baby changing tents spaced around the site, alongside Breast Feeding areas.

Geronimo has a number of street performers to entertain crowds whilst waiting for attractions, at the end of their shows some performers may carry out a hat collection this is a voluntary contribution if you have enjoyed the show.
Do I need a car parking pass with a caravan ticket?
Yes every vehicle needs a parking pass.
Do caravans need a car parking pass?
All vehicles entering the site will need a car parking pass including cars arriving with caravans.
Does my ticket include parking?
PLEASE NOTE: There is a separate fee for parking it is important to pay this at the time of booking your ticket to facilitate the smooth traffic flow into the festival on the day.
Can I change my ticket to another day my plans have changed?
Unfortunately, tickets are not changeable please make sure you check your calendar prior to booking a ticket.

I have lost my booking reference

I haven't received my tickets the festival is in 3 weeks?
Please contact the ticket sale provider with your booking reference number they will be able to assist you.
Are there any prohibited items we should not bring?
Yes, the items below are prohibited:
Dogs and other pets; except assistance/guide dogs.
Glass items - with the exception of baby food jars.
Lasers, aerosols or sharp objects; except legitimate picnic items.
Hobby model aircraft and drones.
Professional camera or visual recording equipment; small hand held personal cameras without enhanced lenses are permitted.
Audio recording equipment.
Hard balls, frisbees or similar sports items.
Placards or banners on poles, whistles, air horns.
Furniture and equipment not appropriate for picnics.
Naked flames, candles, fireworks, flares, flammable liquids, Chinese lanterns or any other item that may be considered unsuitable or unsafe.
Illegal substances.
Cyclists welcome but bicycles within the event areas are prohibited. Bicycles may be left at an area adjacent to the Entrances at the Owner's risk.
Prohibited or unsafe items will be confiscated at the Owner’s risk and without liability to the Organiser.
